$390, which means whole sale costs should be a lot cheaper too.

Interesting to see how this will compete with P*.

Uses a springless poppet valve and a less complex fcu. What does that mean? Instead of using air to just push the nozzle back and having the spring do the rest, the SMP uses air to both cycle the nozzle back and forth, and also propel the BB, this will give shittier air efficiency. 390usd vs 470usd... I'd rather have a polarstar, they are simple drop in, SMP requires you open gearbox.

Interested in this system and how it plays out.

GBBR March 17th, 2014 13:45

This system will be great for custom builds, that means all the guns that you thought couldn't have p* performance can now have it! Lots of good and bad!

I was hoping it would cost a lot less. Too bad.

The SMP fits in V2 and V3 mechboxes, P* has V2 and V3 drop ins...

Agm mp40 takes a modified v3. Ain't no fittig a p* in there without heavy modding... this should be straight drop in. More or less. Just an example.

This opens up P90s, Thompsons too does it not?

Not if it has an offset nozzle for now. I suppose they could make an offset one but harder to machine.

Black nozzle & cylinder head end in below pic would need to be custom
