V3 Mechbox Plastic Clip
 

Hello all,

I was putting a mechbox back into an AK receiver the other day and had the "clip" that is on the mechbox just behind the trigger (closes in the mechbox to the anterior inferior aspect of the sector gear) crack on me. The clip spans both halves of the mechbox.

Is there a source to get just this part?

I think evike has them but with shipping its barely worth it.

No you don't need it, but it prevents dirt and crap from getting into the mechbox. Also protects fingers in the trigger guard!

Well shit. Guess I'll see if I can get a bunch.

I always forget to take that little bitch off and end up stretching it. I snapped one in half.. luckily crazy glue can fix it but I don't bet on it lasting.
