GBB vs NBB The hunt for dual Colt.45's

What do you prefer GBB or NBB and why ??

Is there anyone in the community that prefers pistols over AEGS in most games??

GBBs usually have a much nicer trigger pull, and the blowback is awesome. Few people will take a pistol regularly over an AEG in games, especially outdoors. I'll use my WA SVI exclusively for a few rounds at most games I go to, cause it's really fun.

In addition to what Harley said - NBBs generally cost less and use much less gas due to them not having to cycle to slide everytime.
I would prefer a GBB for the realism.
The new AEPs seem like a great alternative, but no Colts are out yet.

Cheers,
Alex

Definately GBBs.. they're so much fun to fire. I guess it's the cycling that makes it more realistic. Pistols only CQBs are the most fun.

I would much rather use a pistol or any gas/spring gun over an AEG. I find it very hard to just get behind the feel of an AEG because there basicly isn't any feel. AEG's also sound lame. I don't get a rush out of shooting an automatic sewing machine hose. I also have an easier time eye balling shots with any gas or spring gun. The completely realistic action of GBB's is something that cannot even be compared to AEG's in the cool and fun catagories. I despise those players that love to sit there winding away at a completely unrealistic hicap with there AEG. (not that they arn't that hard to take out)

Anyways, you can ONLY take pride in owning GBB's ask they are totally pimp and the pimpness will rub off on to you. Mabey a completely full metal AEG, but you'd have to get it that way out of the box not to be a sucker. :)

Oh ya and my choices would go GBB, NBB, Spring, AEG

Ya that seems right, I played with a SIG 552 and a P90 as well as a thompson for AEG's
but i enjoyed the glock i was using more, the only reason id still invest in a AEG was for a weapon with a HRF vs a Semi pistol. I dunno pistols seem more intense when your going up against 5 or 6 ppl with AEG's. Now i have to look for a boxy kind of gun similar to a colt.....hunting hunting

hey jax you know what colt would be hot...dual gold plated one's...like in face off..

I actually prefer hunting with a gbb and a couple spare mags. It makes slinking around trees all the more comfortable. It really depends on the type of game I'm playing, if it's a long drawn out milsim, I can hide in bushes and sneak up on people. If it's a straight on skirmish, I dont stand a chance with a gbb.

btw, I'm selling a couple of pimp .45s. All in excellent condition

You have to have an AEG for outdoor games. But for playing indoor, a couple of pistols are more than enough if you have ammo. I would prefer to have a GBB over an NBB. Unfortunately there is yet to be a revolver with blow back.
