cranestock fit problem

OMG..I think i just took a trip back to my noobland..lol. i have a battery cranestock and the fit is way too tight on the buffer..original kingarms tube..so instead of going through all the headache of selling it..the stock..what good way is there to "loosen it" up a bit..with out wooble..so it,s slides the way it should..sand down the metal? dremel the inside of stock? engineoil? lol..

I just got a cranestock that is too loose for my kingarms buffer tube... This is so ironic.

I will try not sanding on the metal as it appears to be the stock space being too thin rather than the tube being to thick, plus you will ruin the finishing on the tube.

Maybe try glue some sand paper on a cylindrical stick (that will fit in the stock space), and using it to sanding the inside of the stock?

CCYG8774, I had the same issue with my king arms m4 and a crane stock being too loose. It would not engage the lock on the bottom to hold it in place. I wound up putting a few layers of duck tape on the inside / top of the crane stock to "push" it down a bit more onto the buffer tube and this seems to have worked. I've gamed it with the tape for awhile with no issues other than using rainbow patterned tape which was available but hey, whats a little sparkle in your boom stick?
