What compact pistol to choose?

I'm really fascinated by how compact guns can be and so I decided that I want one enough to actually spend the money. But what what do I get? The sig P226 is small but so is the WE Baby Hi Capa 3.8. Are there other small pistols I'm forgetting? I think there is a small glock too but I cannot seem to recall the model now that I'm typing this out :P

What other compact pistols do you guys know/recommend? Or out of the ones I've listed, what would you pick?

I love my XDM. Some people hate it, but I've had zero problems so far.

The sig p226 isn't that small of a pistol...

There are lots of tiny glocks and compact xdm's or company px4's. it all depends on what you find fits your hand the most. Get out to a game an ask to hold people's pistols, or check out a walk in store and ask to check some out

I saw the XDM and it did look nice! Does any company aside from Skeleton Sidearms (because I want blow back) made a baby 1911? The 1911 is my all time favourite gun so to have a baby version would just be wicked!!!

Glock 26/27 is subcompact, Glock 19 is compact.

USP compact is nice, too. If you find the 226 small, then you'll likely find a glock 19 or a USPc to be a good size as well.

USP compact has the same controls as a 1911, plus a couple additions. HK45 is smaller than a 1911 (by a bit), and has the same grip angle as well as sharing similar controls.

If you like 1911's/Hi-capas, try the WE or TM desert warrior. Very comfortable halfway point between full size and compact.

Also the lower rail looks "ballin" as the young folks say. And it is removable if you do not share that view.

Try the sig 228/229 as well. Makes the 226 look huge.

I tried my friend's We Baby Capa 3.8 and it is quite comfortable. I quite liked it.

I cannot stress enough, do not get a skeleton sidearms.

The new VFC Smith & Wesson M&P9C is a good compact i hear. It also comes with full auto capability. Check that one out!

If you want to go even smaller to the sub-compact range, and are looking for 1911 series, check out the Detonics. I absolutely love mine.

Does the OP want a compact pistol or just a pistol?

Assuming Compact because of the thread title.

Compact and preferably something like the WE Baby Hi Capa 3.8. If there are other baby 1911's out there that would be amazing!
