Anyone derping with this for indoor range? They're about 11 buckeroos at Walmart

Yeah, any of "our" guns (not walmart guns) would absolutely destroy those.

ah those ones .. one of them came with the crosman pistols i purchased. the thing blew apart after i shot it with the spring p99 a couple of times.

I got a crossman gel target with a springer that I grabbed for like $10 at a princess auto tent sale, and I love it. It's not the same one as in the picture (it's square), but it's the same idea. I've since gone back and bought a few of these targets.
I might be confused as to what targets you guys are referring to, but the gel on the targets I'm thinking of is thick enough to absorb the impact of the BB. I've even hit the plastic frame around the gel, and while it did dent it, it hasn't cracked yet.

My biggest problem with these targets is that if you hit it at close range with "our" guns, you have to grab each BB and pull it off of the gel (you can't just rub your hand over it, or lightly pluck them off).
It's definitely worth it for target practice though. Since it holds onto the BB (the ones I have do, anyway. They don't slide down like in the video) you know exactly where you shot, just like a paper target. But unlike the paper target, it holds onto the BBs, so they don't bounce all over the place.

You can rig up all sorts of target traps...but the best setup I've found so far is:

Collect your paper/cardboard recycling (I have 2 kids...the amount recycling they produce is stunning) and stuff it into a bag.

Stuff the bag into a box (we have plastic grocery bins which are of a very handy size).

Tape a target to the box so it's over the bag (taping to the lip of the box works....but running two stripes of duct tape across the box and then taping the targets to them works really well).

When you've blasted the bag to pieces you can either just bag it with another recycling bag or pitch it into the trash.

A bag full of paper/cardboard soaks up BBs really well, any spill over/tricklers end up in the box, easy to dispose of, etc...

I ended up working on a few SAWs at once and the stress testing of the setups ended up depleting my stash of BB's...at the end of it all the bag was pretty much shot through and there was A LOT of BBs in there. I just bagged it again and tossed it in the blue bin.

You might want to check if your local facility accepts styrene before you toss the result back in recycling.

OP, that target you posted works great with cheapo airsoft guns shooting .12's at 250fps. My kid has one and loves watching the BB's slowly ooze their way down. I shot it with myEcho1 RPG that shoots 485fps with .28's. It went clear through...
