Slide/Frame Set compatibility?
 

Hey guys,

Anyone know if the "PGC Kimber LAPD SWAT Custom II Kit For Marui MEU Pistol" is compatible with a stock TM 1911? Im planning to use this for my TM 1911 if it fits. Thanks!

Not with all of the controls (specifically, the grip safety and the hammer.)

I can't remember if PGC uses the dummy firing pin lock plate, but if it does, the 1911 one will not fit without modification either.

Thanks for the reply Brian, if I was to use aftermarket MEU controls (ie. grip safety, hammer, safety, etc), will I still be able to use this kit?

Basically, Im going to be transplanting the internals of TM 1911 into this slide/frame kit.

Yes, you can do that.

Except, you still have the issue with the firing pin lock plate.
