How can you tell if an ICS AEG is a ver2 or ver3?

Do you have to open it up and check the internals, or is there something marked on the exterior of the gun to indicate what version it is?

It would probably say somewhere on the box or manuals.

I got a box for a diffferent gun, but I have the correct manual for my ICS MP5.

I'll check tonite to see if the manual lists it.

I haven't stripped it down yet tho, and it would be cool if the box could be identified without the manual. Lots of us don't have em..:-)
