Can't put my KA M4 back together

I tried to rear wire my KA gearbox and switch it to deans. So I bought the G&P switch assembly+deans that came pre wired. G&G Wires are very high quality, very thick. However, they are too thick. As a result, the gearbox doesn't sit all the way into the lower receiver.

I tried hammering the wires to make it flatter but I still only managed to get it in a bit further. I said fk it, and hammered the body pin through the gearbox. However, when it went out the other side, it is horridly misaligned, and it won't go through all the way. See picture.

Afterwards, I thought maybe if I had a buffer tube screw through the gearbox, there would be enough pressure to flatten the wire enough to get the body pin all the way through. It is then I realized I do not have a philips screwdriver that is longer than the buffer tube.

G&P's wire is really nice, I don't really want to cut it open. On the other hand, KA M4 has ridiculously tight tolerances, even if the quality of their receiver is exceptional. Oh man...

By the looks of it, you have the wires coming out of the wrong holes. They should be coming out of the upper hole so the gearbox will fit into the lower receiver.

I think your problem is the hammer you were using to ruin your gun was too small. Try a bigger hammer.

Oh man you must be an animal, you have to treat wires with respect or they will short on you.

I wouldn't be surprised if your wire insulation is torn and nicked.

The hop up chamber is not seated into the gearbox. The chamber is probably a little bit too high so it isn't lining up with the opening at the front of the gearbox. Try matching up the hopup chamber to the gearbox before sliding the upper and the lower together.

An awesome gun doc from here was working on my king arms m4 while i observed and it was a tight fit as well. Easy to open .... Tough to close. Rubber mallet with a gentle touch will guide it in. Watch the hop up cover, as mine liked to slide out of place while seating everything in its final place. Some feathering of the bolt catch while you work the mating of upper and lower reciever should help out.

I'm thinking this latest batch from king arms are tight fits all around.

I thought you said "you have to treat your wives with respect".
That's when I put my King Arms in my kitchen.

Edit: to get my food from the microwave. =_=

Oh, and everything is aligned now, but there is still like 2mm of space left. I think rubber mallet might be the way to go.

The KA receivers are insanely hard to get back together, even with front wiring.

The only way we could get them back together properly was to slide the receivers together first, THEN do the body pins and pistol grip.

dont use a mallet, just push down on the back of the upper as you push it back. That's all I need to do with mine.
