Helghast Insignia/Symbol

1 Attachment(s)
Since I was introduced into Paintballing in 2005 i`ve not only thought about customization of my gun, but the gear as well. I have one in the works that I`m going to see if I can build.

Most of you here know of or about Killzone and events that depict the game. My question...

The Helghast Insignia as pictured is very similar to the Nazi Swastika. Same colors, Strong Lines etc....

If I were to brand this on my arm would those of you feel upset? I`d rather not show up to a field with a Patch and have a bunch of angry Airsofter's give me flak.

Input?

honestly even if you were to show up wearing a swastika it would not bother me in the least... now if you showed up to a game wearing anything acting like a neo-nazi asshat then I think that would piss me off

pusangani November 20th, 2010 23:25

Lol I'd lol more than anything, I doubt anyone would be upset tho

I don't see how that is "very Similar" to the Swastika... so symbols using read back and white are taboo? since when?

Although I expect the symbol is copyright protected

Well no, but it can give some people the idea of the Swastika, even the game makes you to remember the Nazi`s.

I generally find the video game player mentality funny, nothing personal or anything hehe

y'all remember that guy that said he was an awesome gamer and that that was why he thought he would rape on the field even though he never actually played airsoft before?

hahaha I dont have that mentality that just because i play FPS games means i`ll automatically be good at shoosting on the field...though I have been paintballing so we`ll see how airsoft compares.

we have a guy out here who has built a ww2 motorcycle with a side car and has the Eagle on it, he comes out in a full WW2 nazi officer outfit complete with swastikas. No one gets offended.

Now if he were to say wear this and drive his motorcycle to the jewish temple and sat outside yelling "JUDEN JUDEN!" ... well than we might have an issue with it.

On a side note the swastika actually has a noble meaning, unfortunately hitler associated with his Kampf.
