the UTG m324

5 Attachment(s)
Finally here are some pictures of my UTG m324, ordered from a US website (www.JCSurveillance.com)
The gun didn't come with a scope so I ordered a King Arms (Tasco replica) 3-9-50mm scope from ebay for about 33$ shipped!
I use BBbastard .28g bb with it since the .20g bbs don'T go straight because of the too high fps (aroung 420 fps (with .20g ) stock and 450fps with the teflon tape mod)

Conscript September 6th, 2008 14:57

Woah... How in gods green earth did you get that gun past customs?

Gunny_McSmith September 6th, 2008 15:00

dunno lol I was maybe lucky, or the website was used to get guns through the customs...but I placed my order after they have confirmed me that the gun could pass the customs!

Ronan September 6th, 2008 17:50

Prob cuz it could look like a pellet gun.

Drache September 6th, 2008 18:02

my guess was just dumb luck lol

Conscript September 6th, 2008 19:03

Is anyone up to the challenge of ordering from them again? :D

Drache September 6th, 2008 19:14

You paid $145 USD plus shipping for that and risked having it shipped across the border? Why not just order one of the TSD one's from buyairsoft? At least it was already in country and wasn't a gamble....

I'll do it but since I'm in the US, it would be unfair to you :)

Skladfin September 6th, 2008 23:00

probably mistaken it for a airgun

Kingsix September 7th, 2008 03:37

You'll shoot your eye out!

Gunny_McSmith September 7th, 2008 08:05

could that gun be used in a skirmish?

Yes, if its velocity is under the guidelines set by the field that you are playing in. You are 16 years of age right now, keep this gun, save your money and read the forums untill you are 18 to hit up the fields and start playing airsoft.

Kingsix September 7th, 2008 20:38

No one is going to trust a 16 year old with a hot gun on the field anyways so have fun looking for skirmishes on ASC.

Ive been in games with 16 year olds that run "hot" guns and love having them on my squad! It's all about proving that they are mature enough. Personally I give everyone the benefit of the doubt... usually....

Alphaj1 September 17th, 2008 19:11

hey man, i ordered an A&K from that site, they shipped it last thursday, so im still waiting on it. How long did your take?

Gunny_McSmith September 17th, 2008 21:42

it took me about 2 weeks but watch your item on canada post with your traking number...

Gunny_McSmith September 17th, 2008 21:44

but for the first week it will say like "item in the USA" then it will say "item entering leaving country of origin and entering Canada" then it will say" Item is being checked by the customs" then it will be shipped at your house

Alphaj1 September 17th, 2008 22:07

its at the border right now but its still with USPS. Do i just go to Canada post and use the tracking number they gave me?

Ronan September 18th, 2008 01:48

We do not encourage smuggling of prohibited items (which is what you are doing).

Someone lock/trash this thread please.

surebet September 18th, 2008 01:54

Post tracking number or this never happened...

look i can see into the future!

Gunny_McSmith September 18th, 2008 21:09

and what will you say if it passes the border? that A&K isn't and doesn't look like a pellet gun!

Muffin September 18th, 2008 21:09

Somehow I think alot of us have the power to predict what will happen next.

It all depends on what he ordered, my bet would be an Armalite, of which is easily identified as a replica. You however bought something that could be mistaken as an airgun(pellet) which isn't restricted.
You sir, got lucky in this moment, however I doubt Alphaj1 will have the same luck.

Gunny_McSmith September 18th, 2008 21:13

lol maybe... we'll see

well tell you what. You order me a gun, and when it arrives ill pay for it, plus give you an extra $100. What do you say?

Muffin September 18th, 2008 21:21

Ha ha ha, make it an Armalite though... along with a picture of Customs curb stomping it(that poor armalite).

Donster September 18th, 2008 21:24

hey i was serious. i cant loose either way. If he gets the gun, than i get a cheap CA, if not, young-buck over there learns a valuable lesson about the wilderness

Gunny_McSmith September 18th, 2008 21:27

lol! BTW DONSTER, how do you put those small gun icons on your signature?

Sha Do September 18th, 2008 21:39

...and to settle the debate; Most BA (bolt action) airsoft are easily mistaken for your typical BB guns (unless it is a Type L96). Therefore most (read; MOST) Canadian Border Services personel tend NOT preceive it as an airsoft gun and "pass it" as your typical BB gun (completely legal to import). It's the military replicas that set of all the bells and whistles that gets sent back.

Though I still woud not take the risk, 'cause it's only a matter of time before they get the drift.

SHA DO

Gunny_McSmith September 18th, 2008 21:50

ok thanks for the info! I didnt knew that...

Not events.

Shirley September 19th, 2008 01:29

Hm.. maybe it's because he's located in Quebec..
There was a thread about Quebec and higher chance importing there..

Alphaj1 September 19th, 2008 01:53

surebet September 19th, 2008 01:56

He can be one of the examples who tries to import and got owned.
Then his actions that was recorded, would be added to the stickes and FAQ of why you shouldn't import.

andthenhewent October 15th, 2008 21:46

see i thought about buying this gun since it's got good fps, quite shooting, etc.
The Well MB03 though was about the same, although was $60 USD as opposed to $100 USD which I found this gun on a different website. What do you think about this guns accuracy and range compared to the MB03/VSR-10?

Gunny_McSmith October 31st, 2008 09:06

havent tried the VSR-10 yet, but ya the accuracy is pretty good for what it is, and I heard that the VRS-10 clone (Well) had a cheap feeling and not really good (because of the excedent of grease in the gun). but this gun is not upgradable, (except if you want to put a spring in it that will boost the gun up to 550 fps, but it could break the trigger mecanism...) and a lot of people tell that it has the best out of the box performances...

SilentBullet November 1st, 2008 07:31

not to encourage underagers but, for pure discussion the next best thing to vsr-10 is the jg bar-10. red that with few simple mods (teflon seal, cutting air brake....etc) the jg bar-10 shoots close to 500fps.
