Anyone trsut these?
http://www.nextag.com/5000-Ct-Bottle...77/prices-html
would you trust these in you aeg? There pretty cheap so I wanted to make sure. |
not a chance.
|
They have those in Walmart, think its around 16 dollars, they are really soft, I can put dent in them with my nail, but I haven't used them in my AEG yet.
|
I use them at our PB field.
dirt cheap, not too bad, not polished. not good for tightbores, okay for spraying, CQB... not good for high-ROF. |
I use them all time, no problems, even with a tightbore.
|
Any differences in performance?
|
I use them at FR indoor. They're decent for CQB and dirt cheap. As Jimski said they're not polished and they suck balls in pistol mags and in tight bores. Performance wise they're on par with any other Bio BB. IIRC they're re branded KSC Bios. Some one correct me if I'm wrong on that.
|
I'm scared to use mine.My teammate used them last season and they shreaded in his gun and pluged it up good.I think I'm just going to use them for my claymores.
|
Wasn't there an incident involving Bio BB's at Boarder Wars?

I get a few misfeeds on my insanely-fast-rof aeg (that's probably because of the rof but idk) |
I've bought them from Walmart before. I use them when I go shooting at a friend's place. It's not uncommon for us to go through 5 000 rounds in an afternoon of plinking, and I don't want to leave his property littererd with plastic BBs, so I use these.
They work great in most of my AEG mags... I have no issues with them in 50 and 68 round mags, but they give me feed problems in my 130 rnd Armalite mags, 110 rnd AK mags, and 100 rnd MP5 mags. I have load those mags to only 1/2 capacity in order to use them with those BBs. And they give me feed problems in all the pistols I've tried them in. |
I use these exact same ones from Walmart all the time, bought a bucket last week actually, theyre great for plinking around the house, but as Crunchmeister said they do have feed problems, I have only hi-caps and they do misfead all the time, then you have to take out the mag n slap it back in
|
how about these
http://www.hobbytron.com/AirsoftAcce...DBIO20X5M.html |
Bascially, if it's for plinking and not wanting to litter up your yard, go for it. If you want accuracy and range in a game, go for good quality BBs.
I should add that I have had a couple of these BBs break in the mags of my pistols, and that was one reason for feed problems. The other problem with feeding (as Jimski noted) is that they're not polished, and the surface is quite rough. This probably affects their accuracy too. I never tried them in hicap mags, so I can't vouch for that. Only tried them in midcaps so far. And as said, they're $16 + tax at Walmart. Why would anyone want to order them online for $20 US + shipping? :S |
hmmmm... well im gonna be using em in high caps so i have no idea.
|
Do these actually degrade? There was an article on some other brand name bio BBs which found that it was made with a percentage of styrene which does not degrade.
|
well my Friend got these bb's with his clearsoft co2 pistol and they are all around my yard. They have been here at least a month and a half, they don't seem to be any smaller, we have picked them up and put them in the clip and they still shoot fast (not accurate) I tried mixing dirt salt and other stuff in a small shot glass and thrown a few bbs in, they didn't degrade a significant amount. We were afraid to run them in TM g3 but it should be alright, right?
|
didn't even notice said "trsut' i was in a hurry for school.
|
Why don't you just buy a bag of KSC perfect .20?
It's what.. 17 bucks for 4000 of them? You really shouldn't cheap out on Ammo.. That can cost you quite a bit (They can scratch the inside of your barrel, pieces can break apart inside ect ect) |
it quick ammo and i will order good bb's do you need to be age verified to buy bbs?
|
No, they're accessories/parts, etc. You can order them from anywhere in the world.
|
I know this doesn't really belong here, but my TM vs JG thread disappeared or something it didn't surface the threads when I posted in it, anyways when it all come down to which to buy, I'm going to be upgrading, so I might as well get the jg so I can have more money for upgrades? ABS body does bother me but I will get used to it.
|
TM has a plastic body too, you know.
|
Ya I know, that's why I was considering the jg. I also hear the mech box holds up better then the TM

Amazon.com: Crosman Softair-5,000 ct. 6mm Bb's-Orange: Sports & Outdoors
How about these? I bought these before I got my JG HK416. Can I use these for plinkin without messin up my AEG? |
Those are .12g, they have like 10 ft range, also those are not polished at all and the quality of those are shit.

Crosman BBs are crappy. They have seam lines, and you will more than likely find malformed BBs in the container. These can be bad for your gun.
And if you have anything other than a fixed hopup clearsoft (which are intended to be used with .12g), then buy .20g BBs. |

Thanks

Seriously - you pay $20 + tax at Cdn Tire or Walmart for 5000 shitty .12g BBs.
Metaltech - 3500 - $17 plus shipping BB Bastard - 2500 - $12.50 + shipping That you want are perfectly polished BBs that have a perfect spherical shape. To date, the best brands I've used are KSC, BB Bastard, and Metaltech. KSC are excellent BBs. They work great in all my AEGs and all my pistols except my KSC Glock. Oddly enough, KSC BBs cause feeding issues in my KSC pistol. Otherwise, they worked out great. The only downside is that they will shatter to a bunch of tiny pieces when fired at a hard object. That's not good for CQB situations, or where someone insists on wearing mesh masks for gaming. I do like BB Bastard BBs. They are impeccably polished and incredibly consistent. They've given me no feed issues in any of my guns. But contrary to claims I've heard though, BB Bastard BBs have shattered into a zillion little pieces on me without failiure when fired at a hard surface. I've seen tons of claims to the contrary, but not according to my experience with them. Because of this, I'd never use them for an indoor game. Outdoors though, I will use them I have a bag of .25s for use in my AEGs, and .28s for my pistols. Those .28s kick ass in pistols, especially if you have a tightbore inner barrel. So far, my favorite BBs have been Metaltech. They've got a perfect finish. They're accurate and consistent, and don't cause any feed issues. Plus, they actually hold together when fired at solid objects. When fired at a solid object, they will dent. And I've seen a couple that have cracked, but I haven't seen one shatter yet. So with high quality BBs selling for roughly the same price as these crap Cdn Tire ones, I don't know why anyone would want to buy those cheap pieces of junk. Because they're not cheap, except in construction. |
