Ehhh... SLR looks nice, but I'd hold out for that RPK that's been seen...

And the Tartik? Ehhhhhh... I doubt it'll have any problems like creaky-grip, but I still think it's a confoundedly large rifle :D

I had my SAR Offizier M41FS out yesterday. Everyone seemed highly impressed with its out of the box accuracy, range, and durability, and this is a low serial number gun. Classic Army has really gotten their act together and is cranking out incredible products. Can't wait for the steel SLR105!

It shouldn't be THAT bad in outdoor games. Even in CQB, at least you'll feel safe smashing ur gun into obstacles. :-D

Holy Crap that SAR is nice. When we opened up the box, I was tempted to trade in my AUG for it...

Is that real wood with the steel? I've been wanting a full wood and metal AK series gun for awhile but didnt want to have to buy all the upgrade kits.

What's new about those guns ? Can anybody tell me when will they come up with a new model instead of doing guns that have been done more than once before ?

Non-ABS body would be a NEW feature.

And I don't see any problem with companies releasing same models. You just have to accept the fact that some series are popular among the majority, and those are the models that are manufactured. It's even better for the consumers where manufacturer has to compete on quality AND price to convince their model is better than the another manufacturer.

I'm going to email the retailers soon once the specs come out on CA's website. Hopefully it'll be close to the $500CDN mark like the SAR Offizier M41FS.

$500 mark for the G3....*sigh* going to cost me that much to metalize my TM G3 and its a $500 gun to start with, oh well.

But if thats real wood to go with the steel, I will be a very happy person.

bah it has the same feature that my CA33E have, except its 7.62 nato. Just hope it will accept tm mags

Yes it definitely will. I tried TM lowcaps (including the PSG1 uber-shorty) in my SAR and they fit fine.

Definantly a nice chance from the extensive Armalite lineup they've been running. It's got a simpler look, more rugged.

Man, just after I spend $600 metalizing and upgrading my TM SG-1, CA comes out with one for $500. :rrr:

I havnt ordered the metal parts for my G3 and I havnt gotten the internals installed yet...

Maybe I'll throw the internal upgrades into my M733 (which will get metalized later) and sell my TM G3 to get an Offizier, really like the look of that one, and I can keep all my STAR G3 mags.

well i dont think the pirce as been confirmed but Gryphon has the M41 SAR (MC-51) and he said around 500 so i'm thinking maybe 550-580 for this little toy but thats better then spending the price on a going FMU on your TM.

Nice man. We still have not got them in the US. Spartan Imports only got there's on the 15th. And there moveing so won will get them to around next mouth.

Well, you could get a Marui A3 and get a metal kit, or you could just get the CA SG-1 and convert it. Neither would be hard to do.

Miles told me 4 weeks wait a week ago, I'm told its unhealthy to keep a boner that long.

I asked if anyone knew if the CA AK had real wood or fake wood furniture and no one answered so I'm assuming this is a confirmation that was unknown before.

Just up on Arnies News is a comment from CA and it is in fact real wood. I am now a very very happy man and now know what I want more than the ICS AK-74M.

I want an AK-47 (full steel and wood) for my next gun but dont want to get a TM just to replace the body and furniture and cost $1000. The CA M41 Offizier I preordered cost $590 Canadian, so I'm assuming the CA AK will cost roughly the same...

How long as it been since the G3SG1 was declared as the next gun to be released? I'm guessing the time period between its announcment and release will be similar to the AK...tell me its before the season ends (assuming the G3SG1 is sometime soon.)

That's a gorgeous AK.... I've been up in the air about getting one, since I'm not an AK fanatic, and my taste in camo and weapons tends to lie elsewhere for the most part, I wasn't planning on making it an eminant purchase, but seeing that makes my pants wet.... Right over my wallet. /tear

But, for us that like to use lowcaps and midcaps, it's not a problem because it will get sold off or left in the box anyway.

Also nocturnal, to my belief, ICS just released news in another thread about their release of the same (to the best of my knowledge) gun as the VFC AK. Wood too, of cource.

Search ICS and you should get it. I amagine that the ICS internals should beat the VFC. In the review, they looked fairly shotty.

where would you go about preordering the M41 Offizier? because after seeing that, screw getting a full size G3. that gun looks super sexy

Preordered mine through Hojo (ASCA) but that order was sent out weeks ago, expecting it in a week or two now (hopefully in less than a week). There is a WGC order going on soon through ASCA and they can get guns and any other resricted items so it may be worth it to give that a try, just ask for a price estimate.

When I ordered my MC51 (M41 Offizier is the CA name to avoid copyrights) Hojo did say he was ordering in 3 of them, no idea how many of them are spoken for, throw him an email and ask if you can reserve one but it does require a minimum 50% downpayment, at least what I was told.

i was lookin on AA Airsoft and they got it on their site. but i gotta wait until i got some extra money before i go pick one up

Me loves my m41... There are some downsides, but not many, and they're not biggies.

its weird but ca lists the g3sg1 as in stock (i would assume able to be purchased for dealers) on their site, but i cant see any dealers actually selling it, not even wgc the last time i checked had it.... seems kinda strange
