I paid $54 shipped for a G&P 552. I think they're all mostly the same, but the name brands do more extensive QA before packaging them up.

Updates, after only a day, it bugs when I try to light it up, it shows red Crosshair for a second, then switches to green, and no buttons are responding, I have to take the batteries off.

I wrote to DX, I'm waiting for their reply.

I ordered a G&P 552 and a M6X torch/laser unit from Hong Kong on April 12th and they arrived here in Vancouver via Hong Kong Post on the 15th and are waiting to be reviewed by customs according to Canada Post's web tracking. That was faster than my order from Airsoft GI that uses UPS and is in California.

Rooster April 18th, 2010 22:06

That's because UPS is horrible and hates Canadians..

Nick_273 April 18th, 2010 22:17

Your just lucky you didnt get ripped off by their special "fuck off canada fees"... I ended up paying an extra 50 dollars for an order which originally cost me under $100.

Airsoft GI sent my order as sample parts at $5 each instead of the real invoice so I didn't have to pay any fees at all, UPS just handed it to me. You only pay UPS brokerage fees if you have to pay any duties and then it is based on the amount that has duty applicable to it.

I hope Evike does something similar I have a bunch of stuff waiting to be shipped on Monday from them.

I don't know what's up with them right now, just received a 40$ Order from DX, customs charged me 30.75$ for taxes, wow, that's a 75 tax on this shit, they wrote it was worth 200$ bastards...

I'm thinking of buying one of these, but how much would the exact price be?

Thanks!

Well the thread title says that they are $39 dollars with shipping included.

However if you go to the website you will currently see that hey are listed for $37.27USD
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.32460

At current exchange rates that would put the cost at about $37.20CAD.

Next time read the thread title or click the link.

Sorry if I didn't be specific enough, but I wanted to know if there would be duty with this purchase as well. If you do know how much, please do not hesitate to tell me.

Experiences vary.

Some people pay nothing, some people pay a small amount and some people get screwed over and pay a significant amount.

yuhaoyang April 20th, 2010 18:18

have never been charged by customs with ordering DX stuff; and that included an egg vibrator.

TokyoSeven April 20th, 2010 18:23

The only sex toys that I trust that come the from the Asia area are those that come from Japan. Even those ones are scary with their crazy settings and what not.

Do you think I should buy from the classifieds/shop in Canada or take my risks here? I want to hear from an expert.

TokyoSeven April 20th, 2010 18:33

I think you should make whatever decision you feel comfortable with.

As it stands its a cheap low quality item, they should not tax you to badly on it. If they evaluate the value of the item at a higher price than it actually is and attempt to over tax you then you could always attempt to dispute it.

The risk is your decision not mine. If you can find an item like that in Canada in the classifieds or at a retailer than go hard.
