I have no fucking idea. Even marushin dropped the 8mm. I hope its the gearbox though.

They are really shooting themselves in the foot.

Boche January 18th, 2012 18:33

Did I hear correctly that the mag holds 8 bbs? And it's an AEG? Weird.

Drunk_Albertan January 18th, 2012 18:38

That's what I got out of it, 8 mm bb's and 8 rnd magazine.

Strange world we live in, haha. Even if it was an 8mm mechbox, why so few bbs? I wonder how they would all be fed into the barrel. When I take out any mag I have, usually three or four bbs fall out to the floor.

Boyso January 18th, 2012 19:00

Hopefully aftermarket magazines will make them 16 rounders or so.

Maybe they invented a revolutionnary mag that loads from the top so that the last 4 BBs are fed by gravity :P

BoGrain January 18th, 2012 19:12

what a deception - why not simply make it 6mm.

Probably because the real Garand holds 8 rounds.

shiftsup January 18th, 2012 21:19

8mm bbs for their Garand?

Did they interview the ICS janitor?

EagleDriver January 18th, 2012 21:30

I didn't get to the ICS booth yet but when I do I will be sure to tell them that the 8mm fail boat has sailed...

Strelok January 18th, 2012 21:33

I guess the only logic I could figure out of it. Is that since most 8mm Bb's are heavier. Its making up for the lack of ammo count in power? People would feel it? I dunno.

Krieg January 18th, 2012 21:38

8mm is ridiculous.

I had a Marushin kar98k in 8mm its really powerful

Haha that's hilarious.

Forever_kaos January 18th, 2012 23:42

Supposedly there is rumor on their (ICS) Facebook page (Or perhaps some other site), of a later 6MM model?
Can't find any source, just talk.
