Well I'd rather wait a couple of weeks to see if anyone has bought it and has had made a review. Just like cars, you don't buy things right away.

Any word on these things coming across the pond to North America yet?

Sorry for bump, but has anyone bought it, or know of someone who has? Interested to see how it is, and it looks like the price went up.

Obviously the real, as well as that 500$ replica are way too fucking expensive. So... Here's some things I've found possibly relating to a cheaper replica.

http://socool.holyou.net/rrf/archiver/?tid-4819.html (I believe it's the same as the one sold on Waridiot)

Empty website, but the contact information is James Tai, from Monda International... maybe there's somthing to get from them
http://www.specterdr.cc.cc/

I don't know it it's the same from Warchild
http://www.365qx.com/shownews.asp?id=24

I don't know? They seem to mention (via Google Translate) some "Departement 365 factory" which I believe could be related to the previous link
http://www.wargameyau.net/viewthread.php?tid=97541
-> This page also links to Power-DY, but as I don't have an account, I can't see anything more: http://bb.power-dy.com/dispbbs.asp?boardid=6&Id=64605
-> There's also a link to this site, but it needs an account: http://socool.holyou.net/rrf/viewthr...age=1#pid57924

So if anyone understand these languages (better than what Google Translate) gives, any better link or information... I'm sure there's a bunch of us who would love to know!

The real DR is a piece of junk, I won't pay that much for a real one.

For about half that you could have a Millet DMS, and optic from a real company that is actually useful on AR platforms.
Cheers,
Grant

I hear ya. The DR suffers from the same fatal flaw as the C79: An external elevation/windage adjust mechanism resulting in loss of zero inconsistencies.

But it's in the SOCOM inventory so it must be good...right??

Elcan makes good glass though.

for that price, just get a real EOTech.

That is, until the EOThingie shits the bed due to faulty battery contacts.

Aimpoint....$400 US can get you a M3....if you look around....60,000 hours of battery life and just about indestructable...

Beat me to it.
