I remember.
I remember my mother, who served as an Air Raid Warden during WW II in Pittsburgh. I remember my father, who worked in the mills producing arms for the free world. I remember my uncle, who served in the Pacific. I remember my father's trapping partner, who served in the trenches during WW I. I remember the family friend who served as a Commando in occupied Europe. I remember reading the messages, on this board and on the local board, posted every time we lost someone who the community knew.
To those whom I knew, and to those whom I have never had the opportunity to meet, I give my thanks.
