Seals Action Gear sells MultiCam cheaper than Dave's Army Surplus. They're also offering a free MultiCam boonie with each top/bottom set you buy.

I'm seriously considering MultiCam as my first camo but it's approximately 4x the cost (No exaggeration) of other quality camo (ie. those seen at Russian Combat Gear).

Yuck, I am not liking what I'm hearing about those Multicam 'replicas.'
The quote from that forum pretty much says it all...

From all that you guys are saying - it sounds like these Chinese "replicas" should be avoided like the plague.

Too bad the Tacgear.de Multicam knockoff is out of stock, IMHO their gear is excellently constructed. I have one of their smocks and it's the heat!!! Excellent price too.

I asked them about those multicam smocks and they said they didn't make them anymore. Apparently they don't like money.

Yah, no kidding. How lame is that? Damn, shame because it was a rip-stop material too. G. Schumacher is a delight to do business with but dude: Basic rule of business: If it's a hot seller, you make some mo'!!!! I've seen one of their combat pants and it's just as well built as the smock.

DZ Multicam Recce Smock all the way for me! It kicks serious ass, hard to find better (easier to find cheaper though).

Dirty Deeds June 2nd, 2006 18:38

I own Crye Precision field pants and field shirt, some of my team mates own the Seals Action Gear multicam BDU, and I am waiting to recieve my ICE Tactical BDU.

When I get the ICE Tactical tuff, I'll take some pictures of the 3 sets and compare. So far as I see it Crye blows the doors off of Seals, hands down.

I've seen their smock, absolutly amazing workmanship, and well worth the price.

I've compared my Crye Combat pants and Field shirt with the Dropzone counterparts and there's no comparison, Crye hands down. Not to say Dropzone gear is bad, it has many more pockets and some different features, but overall, Crye is the choice. Dropzone would be my second pick compared to all the other bdu's I've seen (SEAL's, Tiger Tactical, & ICE)

....This was already mentioned a few pages back.

And for a mere $274,999 you too can have your very own set of cloaking BDU's!

Waiting on some ICE gear myself. I've been using Multicam in the UK for a while now, mostly Crye's own kit, Tactcal Tailor, Seals AG & Dropzone stuff. A lot of people here are going mad for it now though.
I've just ordered some HK multicam to test the quality (80USD for a set of BDU's) so I'm not expecting too much but I'm happy enough even if I have to re-sew the lot if the fabric is reasonable.
Basically I wanted one set of kit for all the year round, woods or urban. I play at many different sites & it's always been effective.
DPM & US woodland generally pretty poor in many of our urban sites, which are generally Victorian artillery forts or WW2 coastal defenses. The photo on multicampattern.com showing the guy infront of a verdigis covered brickwall is exactly the colour mix of 90% UK urban locations, flecky & desert MarPat tend to come second to MC against that background too.

Anyone received a large order from ICE yet? The quoted delivery times seem to be pro forma & I've seen the same email as I have sent to guys on AR15.com etc.

We have a group order of 16 ish bdu's from Ice that has been delayed so many times I don't even remember when we paid for them... after a couple of months out of everything we ordered we only received 7 pair of pants. Needless to say Ice is railed off the supplier's list of many people
