Reppin' the old folks, March 2020! Gooooooo!!!!

However, I'm sad to report that my KSC metal Glock 18c was recently stolen; it was my very first GBB and been with me on countless of airsoft adventures throughout the years.

RIP. =*(

Sup dudes. Been a hot minute.

My first game was at age 16. My first gun was a springer bought from Tru when I was 15. I'm turning 33 in 3 days. Airsoft has changed so much over the years but one thing I can tell you is that the friendships made in this silly little game will last a fucking life time.

100% Bro

+1 that

I was just thinking about when I started, the other day. 1998 ffs. I was trying to remember the name of the forum everyone was on back then: was it X-Ring, I think? Doubt many people from that era are still around.

Just turned 37yo, started playing when I was 19 so almost 20 years playing, some good some great some bad.

Making my exit and selling off all my gear/guns etc. I've just found with family obligations and the decline of the sport locally into skirmish games with weebs that it just isn't worth it anymore.

But oh, the memories. Good times.

Got out for real steel. Back because real steel is dead.

I’ll be 31 in June. Nice to see airsoft has come down in price... also having disposable income doesn’t hurt either.

checking in again, last time I posted was nearly 5 years ago. Fuck were getting old boys

Holy fuck this thread is still getting necro'd?!

Time to get TEAM COLOSTOMY BAG back together. We should do all you can stomach sushi again when restaurants get to reopen.

hang back, suppress and be their eyes and ears

Fifty in a year boys. Being an old timer has its advantages, farting dust after you've run up (if you can run) to take cover and whisper "oh shit I've gone too far up the middle" gives the new blood the cover they need to flank and destroy their targets while you're getting riddled with plastic death.

A lot of familiar names in here. I do miss the old days of games. Settled for actual firearms instead.

I was old back when I played

I've got you beat on the shit head minor-o-meter. I was 14 when I attended my first game at FR Cambridge. I suppose I lucked out with my age/appearance. I looked old enough to be 18 at 14 and now at 30 I apparently look young enough to still be thought to be under 19 quite often.

My first gun was a full metal KJW M9 with 3 mags total. I actually did pretty damn well for using only a pistol on an outdoor field.

Fuck sakes did that gun ever teach me the meaning of 'pot metal' though. From day one it had a mysterious jagged white line across the outer barrel. Nothing came of it until one night I was firing it off in my basement "range" and the barrel exploded with half of it flying down range. It severed precisely along the white line.

God damn airsoft has been a part of my life for over half of it now in some way although my last actual game was in 2009 I believe. I still have my TM SPAS 12 with what I think is one of the - if not the last (as it went out of stock after forever) - original folding stocks from Redwolf and my beloved full metal/upgraded to tits chrome TM/Guarder Desert Eagle, locked away.
